A great series about living and traveling on the cheap.

<<< The frugal traveler >>>

Worth a look for those whose idea of seeing the world involves a beat-up backpack and sticking your thumb out every once in a while.

  1. Gabe, thanks for this tip. Crazy story: I checked out The Frugal Traveler, and it turns out the author, Seth Kugel, was my overnight camp counselor like 25 years ago. I emailed him and now we're in touch. Strange and crazy. Super jealous of his adventures too.

    Stay handsome,
    Charlie

  2. Pretty damn cool, Charlie. Small world.

Question: when he took you guys out camping, did you stay at all the off-the-beaten-path campsites? Or eat cheap local fare, such as tuna fish straight from the can? Ha ha
