Step 1. Buy a pound of coffee. 80 cents here. No idea what raw coffee beans cost in the states.
Step 2. Toast it in a comal for about an hour.
Step 3. Grind that shit up!
But, um, yeah, the whole "growing it yourself in a shady high-altitude cloud forest" thing... you’re on your own.

ReplyDeleteWe're having dinner tonight with one of Whit's best work friends and this friend is talking about how excited she is to see her sister, who she hasn't seen in a long time... Why hasn't she seen her in a long time you ask? Because apparently she was in the Peace Corps in El Salvador and now lives there full time and is in charge of all the volunteers (or something to that effect).
I'm guessing if you don't know her then she's been lying to her family this whole time about what she does for a living and is probably smuggling drugs or something.
Figured I'd throw it out there. Loving the blog as infrequent as it may be.
